Zawiya D&C's completed projects in Pakistan: a portfolio in scale

A portfolio page can only show so much. What it can't always convey is the range — the same team, the same process, running a 1,500 sqft clinic fit-out and a 512,900 sqft head office without changing how either one is coordinated. Here's a walk through what that range actually looks like, project by project.

Civic and religious spaces

The Jamia Mosque in DC Colony, Gujranwala — a 5,000 sqft project completed in 2021 — is the kind of building where the client isn't one person but a community, and the brief is restraint rather than spectacle. As one member of the project committee put it: "Precise, professional and transparent on budget. The BIM coordination caught issues before they reached site."

Institutional and commercial scale

The Master Sanitary Head Office in Lahore is the largest project in our portfolio at 512,900 sqft, completed in 2021 under an urban-planning scope. The Gujranwala Auditorium — a 10,900 sqft interior project completed in 2022 — and the Bin Riaz Marquee, a 15,300 sqft venue also completed in 2022, sit in the same category: buildings designed for continuous public use, where MEP and structural coordination carry real consequences if they're wrong. The client on the marquee project summed up the value plainly: "One team from drawings to site. The accountability is the difference — nobody passed the buck."

International delivery, coordinated remotely

Austin House and Austin House Interior — a combined architecture and interior scope totalling roughly 10,000 sqft in Alpharetta, Georgia, completed in 2023 — were delivered entirely through a shared BIM model, without a single site visit from our side. The family's own words: "They delivered our entire home interior from across the world and it felt local. Every detail was resolved before we built a thing."

Residential and workplace interiors

The rest of the portfolio is where most of our day-to-day work actually sits: the Gondal Residence (7,900 sqft, 2022), Jalees Residence (4,504 sqft, 2022), Auxilium Software House (3,444 sqft, 2022), Naqshi Studio (1,900 sqft, 2021), and the Noor Hair Transplant Clinic (1,500 sqft, 2021) — residential, workplace and clinical interiors that don't make it into case-study headlines as often as the large civic projects, but run through exactly the same Discovery & Brief, Concept & Design, BIM & Engineering, and Build & Handover process.
